My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Straw
Nose: Rhubarb? Maybe but I am not quite sure, mixed creamy fruit, lemon, vanilla, ginger and nutmeg.
Palate: Poached pears, hints of strawberry, light honey, vanilla, lemon zest, candied ginger, hints of pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: A very nice fruity dram, surprisingly light for what you would expect from Benrinnes but richly flavoured anyway.
Rating: 86/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
